WOD: REST DAY!!
Bible WOD:
1 John 5:14-15
14 This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 15 And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.
I like this verse because it reminds me that I'm seeking God's will when I pray. Sometimes we pray in an attempt to persuade God to give us what we want. We need to understand that we are seeking God's will and not our own. Yes, we would love to see this person healed of cancer and yes I would like my financial burdens to go away but if it's not God's will then I need to accept that. There are times when we do pray seeking God's will but we also need to be patient for answered prayers. Once again, our will and timing isn't God's will or God's timing. His will and timing are perfect. Be patient, seek God's will and trust Him.

ReplyDeleteI was able to check out your blog tonight, and all I can say is what a blessing. Your daily comments inspire me and as a fellow Christian it makes me want to be more and do more for our Savior. I know that I can never out do God because he has given us so much, but I do want people to see Christ in me. Thanks for your daily comments. I will continue to follow.
